Working Out
so as i've said in a previous postings, i am again a member of NYSC... it's time to get into a kick ass regimen again... since i haven't worked out in 3 years, i've decided to take it easy for the first couple weeks just so i don't shock my system into shutting down...
i will post my work-out routines once i have it set. jon, feel free to jump in with any of your insights... maybe this will inspire everyone to get back into shape...
peace patis!!!

Re: Working Out
nice, heres my 2 cents..........20 min on the elyptical, 0.7 - 1 mile on the treadmill, and then weights for about 30min everyday. but now, its the P90X workout. i'm being encouraged to quit the gym and save some money by my fellow P90 cult members......but reluctant to do that right now.

Re: Working Out
ha ha ha...
here's my routine for the time being:
1 mile on the treadmill (jog, walk, run)
ab work (40 crunches on the balance ball)
light lifting (hammer strength machines for symmetry, free weights for tone)...
the lifting will increase as i get in gear with the routine... so will the distance on the treadmill and the number of core work i do... slow and steady...
at my healthiest, my work out regimen was this:
2 miles running everyday
100 crunches, 100 leg lifts a day
weight training (i can get into this deep so if anyone wants any of my ideas, let me know)
bball on saturday morning
3 - 5 mile bike rides on sundays
that's my secret fellas... ha ha ha...
