Rainbow 6 Vegas 2

so the new patch for R6V2 came out last night. you know the one where it makes you respawn faster as well as respawning you in different parts of the map to discourage spawn camping? well it blows!!!! spawn camping is what made R6V!!! you needed to develop the skills to get out of the spawn. now that they put the patch through, it's just like COD4. what a dumbass move on ubisoft's part.

but in any case, had a couple rounds last night. played a "sniper war" match last night on the streets. rules are, you stay in your spawn building (if you respawn somewhere else, you need to get back into your building). you can only shoot when you're in your building. and it's snipers only. pretty fun... definitely gets your marksman skills up. was using the silenced sniper. that isht is fun...!!! nobody knows where you're shooting from. ha ha ha...

friday night i should be on all night. he he he... gotta get to my warrant officer rank. got 29000+ points to cover. he he he...

did you come on looking to play last night, ender? i was on from about 12:15 - 12:50 last night. just a quick fix. at least i got my level 19 A.C.E.S. on the assault criteria. almost done with A.C.E.S. challenge.

had some pretty stiff competition last night. i actually placed 3rd out of 14 people. damn... i'm slackin'...

anyways, was planning on playing all night tonight since i thought maris was off to her overnight scrapbooking party. but that is a no go now... so i don't know if i'll be on... but we shall see...

i pretty much downloaded the patch yesterday but didnt get to play...i had to do my workout since i got back late and i had it stored on the ps3 drive. in any case if im on tonight it may be late...ill definitely look for you if im on

Boyet, where've you been??? according to XBL you havent been playing in over a week?? you getting into the PS3 "Vegas" play?? anyway, i played a bit with LLCool last night. he was playing the story mode, so i joined in. it was aite. while playing we were talking about COD4 vs. R6V2. we both agreed that we enjoy COD4 a bit more. for me personally, i think Vegas is more of a run-and-gun game. its such small maps (for the most part), so there is really no place for me to do real damage (we all know i suck). as such, you end up getting into the run-and-gun style of play. that's not a good thing or a bad thing......just the way Vegas plays online. on the other hand, with COD4.....i end up setting up "claymores" by doorways, then camping out and sniping at peeps. i dont get a whole lot of kills but thats the way i enjoy playing it. but i have to admit, that whole gunship and airstrike thing can get old real quick....(which i'm glad Vegas 2 didnt include). anyway, thats just my humble opinion........... many people may enjoy Vegas 2 a hell of alot more than COD4.

unfortunately, with the new vegas patched that was deployed within the last 2 weeks or so, vegas now plays like COD4. annoying as hell!!! the patch now respawns people in different spots on the map "to discourage spawn camping", according to ubisoft.

personally, i thought it was a dumb move on ubi's part. if i wanted a COD4 type of game, then i'll play COD4. getting rid of the spawn camping in vegas is getting rid of the essence of what vegas multi was about. it takes a special skill to get out of a camped spawn. but whatever...

i sometimes do get the urge to play COD4 as a break from vegas, since the competition on vegas 2 is pretty much nonexistent. there are maybe a handful of clans out there that are good, but overall, the competition is pretty non-existent. ergo domination by yours truly and pillius.

Nice!!! dude, i remember those days when freaks would spawn camp on us.........we'd always manage to break out. on that one map, we'd pull out the cheats (thanks to Ender/Buko/Pritong ingenuity). we'd throw those damn gps devices all over that bottom floor so it would create a bridge to the other side of the map....and we'd end up on the second floor blasting our way out of our spawn. THAT WAS NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!! i, just like you (Buks) utterly enjoy spawncamping........but probably unlike you (Buks), i utterly hated getting spawn-camped on!!! that especially sucked when your team wasnt good enough to break out of the "spawn camping wall".....which was the case when i was playing on my own with some strangers.

yeh, i guess that sucks for you Buk's that they had to patch Vegas 2 though. my condolences. then again, if you really wanna spawn rape peeps again.......just play Vegas 1.

anyways, you should've jumped on. it was major domination from yours truly last night on a pistol match in the streets. put it this way, i was doing so well that halfway through the match, everyone switched to regular guns instead of pistols. ha ha ha.... ended up with 23 kills, 13 more than the next guy on my team. ha ha ha...

telling you boys, the PSN is ripe for the picking. if you guys wanna just pick on people... ha ha ha...

hey guys, not so sure about Vegas 2 on the PS3 this weekend. just bad timing, because Kim's cousins are coming up here from Boston for the weekend and they are arriving tonight. it would be kinda rude if i glued myself in front of the tv to play videogames.....well, you know what i'm trying to say. anyway, i'll look to rent it for the PS3 some other time......boyet, just let me know when you'll be renting it (other than this weekend). have a good weekend peeps...........happy fraggin!!

i finished the story not all the side missions so am still at 62% but am pretty much done with the story.. i think cuz the credits came up ... so all i got to do is side missions now.. but am not really into side missions i find them annoying... so let's see.. gta4 came out when? like may something.. so a week after that.. i finished it..russ.. and i was fairly disappointed in both endings.. fairly.. i was like that's it? so.. just letting you know...
